2003 SPACE INVADER,LANCE MOUNTAIN AND MARTY BAPTIST HOSIER LANE MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA

In 2003, the anonymous street artist Invader secretly installed a series of his signature ceramic tile mosaics across Melbourne, Australia. During this trip, a notable collaborative project and site-specific street art installation in the famous Hosier Lane featured the joint creative work of Invader, Lance Mountain, and Marty Baptist.

The three artists left their mark on the lane. The project blends the pixelated-style street art that the French invader is famous for with the aesthetic styles of Baptist and Mountain. You can read more about this specific Melbourne art project and its tags on the Melbourne Art Ephemera Archive.
